The origin of Temptooth is deeply personal, born from a gap in my smile and a hole in my pocket.

My journey began when I was eleven years old, thanks to a defective pogo stick.While I was bouncing away, the metal cap holding the internal spring snapped off. The spring shot upward like a piston, striking me square in the mouth. The impact nearly knocked me unconscious and fatally loosened the permanent tooth just to the left of my front two.

I managed to keep that tooth for years, but by the time I reached adulthood, it finally had to be extracted.

I quickly realized that dental restoration is a luxury. Between the high costs of bridges and the surgical intensity of implants, I simply couldn’t afford a permanent fix.

For years, hiding my smile became second nature—a reflex born of necessity.Eventually, I tried a "flipper." It was a clunky piece of hard plastic that irritated my gums, hindered my speech, and felt like a constant foreign object in my mouth.

Discouraged, I turned to the internet for a better alternative, but all I found were "Halloween-style" plastic strips that covered every tooth just to hide one gap. Nothing made sense.So, I decided to innovate.

After two years of trial and error, I discovered a unique material and perfected a construction technique that allowed me to create my own temporary tooth. It worked so well that I threw my flipper in the trash and used my "self-created" tooth for years until I could finally afford a permanent implant.

For a long time, my invention remained my own little secret. But about a decade ago, I realized my process could help the millions of people facing the same financial and dental hurdles I did.

I secured a patent for the process, launched Temptooth, and am proud to have since helped hundreds of thousands of people reclaim their confidence.

I’m proud to say that what started as a childhood accident has turned into a global mission to help the world smile again.
